FLY THE FLAG!
With this T-shirt we thank all soldiers who stand up for peace throughout the world.
Community Sant Egidio
In every bigger city, there are many people who have to live on the streets for various reasons. Like the good Samaritan in the parable of the gospel, the members of the Community Sant Egidio stop and try to deal with this type of poverty. It occurs in hugely difficult conditions at train stations, under bridges or other places within the city.

About the theme:
We want these designs to take on the role of a snapshot in time representing the 21st century and showing what is going on.
How did we come up with the idea to design flags?
One morning, we realised that we can organise our own day relatively well - quite in contrast to the soldiers. While we master our daily life, the soldiers of many nations often don't know whether or not they will return to their base safely. We especially want to honour the soldiers for their service, as they are ready to give their life and take a loss for the safety of our country and their country of deployment.
- That's what we want to express with this T-shirt.
- This message is true for all flags and all nations which stand up for peace.
